Win32 (Windows 98/ME/XP/2000) Installation

Simply download the MCAsetup.exe file (see Download page for details) and install MJ's CD Archiver (MCA) by following on-screen instructions. If your computer does not have Java or its Java version is too old, then please download Java supported as described on MCA download page

Linux Installation

Download the appropriate zip file (e.g., MCA_gtk.zip). Decompress the file into a directory you designated. Follow the instructions in "INSTALL" and you should be able to run MCA then (if your computer has no Java Runtime Environment support, JRE download is linked on MCA download page).

Installation on other OS (Mac OS X, Solaris, AIX, etc.)

Currently they are not actively supported or tested upon, but MCA should work well on them due to the inherent cross-platform support. For installation of MCA on those platforms, please consult the MCA download for download and installation instructions
